FAQ

What is Dinner?

Dinner? is a decision app built to answer one question: what should we eat tonight?

Does Dinner? only suggest recipes?

No. Depending on your preferences and tonight's situation, Dinner? can recommend cooking at home, pickup, delivery, or eating at a nearby restaurant.

Can Dinner? find local restaurants?

Yes, when local restaurant data and your chosen location are available. Dinner? can use details such as distance, hours, cuisine, menu information, photos, price signals, and reviews to help make a recommendation.

Does Dinner? invent menu items or restaurant photos?

No. Restaurant dishes, photos, prices, ratings, and reviews should only be shown when they come from a legitimate provider or source. If reliable information is not available, Dinner? should not present it as verified.

What does Just Decide do?

Just Decide uses the constraints you provide, such as budget, time, household size, food preferences, distance, and whether you feel like cooking, to choose a dinner option instead of making you browse endlessly.

Does Dinner? remember what I like?

Optional personalization may remember preferences, recent meals, accepted recommendations, and rejected suggestions. You will be able to manage or clear saved data in Settings.

What are Dinner? Reviews?

After taking a recommendation, some users may occasionally be invited to leave an optional rating or review. Reviews can be moderated before publication and may be reported by other users.

Will Dinner? notify me about new restaurants?

If you enable location-based discovery and notifications, Dinner? may offer optional alerts when relevant new food spots appear in your selected area.

Does Dinner? use AI?

Some features may use AI. Before personal information is sent to a third-party AI provider, the app will explain what may be sent, identify the provider, explain why the information is needed, and ask for permission.

Can I use Dinner? without allowing every permission?

Yes. Optional permissions should only be requested when they are needed for a feature. Some features may be limited if a related permission is declined.
